In India majority of the people know the benefits of coconut and its water. Mainly in Kerala, they use coconut very much in their daily food recipes. We can make many crafts items with coconut shell with little patience and time. Today I am going to show you how to make coconut shell into a beautiful show piece or coconut shell craft item.

Things Required:

Coconut Shell

Metallic Acrylic Paints

Color Paper

Glue

Kundans or Chumkees

Glitter Glue

Take half the coconut shell and clean it with sand paper or rub it on the rough surface to make it smoother. Make sure to have round shape shell and glue the water can lid for base of the shell. Then paint it with metallic acrylic paints to give beautiful and shining look. Let it dry for one full day.

Next take the color paper and cut it into equal pieces. Using each slit make a nice roll and shape it like a flower. Now glue these flowers one by one to the base of the coconut shell. When you paint the shell do it on both in and out sides. On the border decorate it with kundans or chumkees and draw some designs on top of the shell with glitter glue.

Flower Wase With Glass Bottle

I hope all of you like my previous decorative idea that is wall hanging from waste. So today I am going to give you a very easy and beautiful flower vase with empty glass bottle.

Look at the picture once. How is it?.

Coming to the process, take any one empty glass bottle and clean it carefully. Then pour some fabric paint in the bottle and roll it until the bottle completely fills with the colour. Keep it dry for some time.

Remember one thing that is you should keep it dry till the paint should not touch your hand. You can also draw some designs on bottle front side with fabric glue or you can stick some interesting and inspirational quotes on that.

Now put some artificial flowers in that. Do not forget to put some base in the vase for supporting the flowers.

Mini Basket With Waste Water Bottle

Many people used to throw out the plastic water bottles after using once because we should not use them again. But we can re-use them as decorative item at homes. This is a mini-basket made with empty water bottle.

First take the empty water bottle and remove the label. Next cut the bottom of the bottle as bigger or smaller size as much as you want. Now cut it again into slits. Take any two colors of woolen thread whatever color you want. Select one color should be dark and the other one should be light color. Then you will have the basket a good look.

You need to round the slits from the bottom to top. While rounding you should remember one slit in and one slit out. After finishing 3-4 rounds, you have to change the color and go on continuing with the same process. After finishing the whole basket then you have to tie the threads. At the top of the slits take a small piece of lace and stick on that. If you want you can also can stick some Kundans or color stones. 

Now your cute mini-basket ready for use. You can give it to play your kids like a toy or you can place some small flowers in that then it looks beautiful.
